Four weeks in and I feel like this healthstyle is becoming quite a simple part of my everyday life. These words may come back to bite me in a few weeks if I find myself struggling, but it just seems to be getting easier. This week included 3 different social situations where I was eating away from home and I didn’t find it too challenging at all.
I do feel like I need to be a bit more structured with my eating plan and organise my grocery shopping a bit better. I’m usually pretty good at sticking with a weekly dinner plan, but I think the school holidays and being out of my grocery shopping routine has thrown me a bit. Kinder starts back next week so I’m planning to get back on track then.
Biggest challenges this week?
I would go so far to say that I haven’t had any real challenges this last week. Even though I haven’t been as organised as usual with my meal planning, I’ve still been able to make smart choices.
If I had to pick one challenge though it would be a lack of time to absorb the enormous amount of information I am gathering regarding a Paleo / Primal lifestyle and how it helps people with digestive issues like me. I just can’t get enough information at the moment and a lack of dedicated reading time is the only thing holding me back!
Food journal & new recipes
I had big plans to try some new recipes this weekend but I chose time with my family instead. I’m hoping to try these recipes in the next few days so hopefully I can share later in the week. I recognise that I’m still meat-heavy with my protein choices and I’m looking forward to introducing some more fish and chicken this week.
Foods marked with an (*) in the food journal are included in the ‘recipe links and more info’ section at the bottom of my 60 day challenge page.
On Pinterest? I’ve been busy pinning new recipes to my Paleo : Primal Pinterest board. You can follow it here.
