Homemade muesli slice

Homemade muesli slice - Hello Little House

This simple slice is another that has made it’s way onto my favourites list (along with this one and this one).  I make it for the boys to have as a lunchbox snack instead of highly processed muesli bars (have you seen those crazy, hard to pronounce ingredients?).  I especially love that I only have to dirty one saucepan to make it and I can have it in the oven after less than 10 minutes of preparation.  If you’re not a fan of mixed fruit feel free to substitute sultanas, dried apricots or chopped dates.

Here too Andie! It’s a kinder lunchbox favourite. I love how simple it is.

Hi. Just asking does the homemade muesli slice freeze well??

I actually just tried freezing this myself recently and it worked for me. I’ve put it in the boys lunchbox frozen a few times and it’s defrosting OK. Give it a try.
