Today marks the day that my 60 day challenge would have officially ended if I didn’t take a 2 week pause due to illness. So as of today I’ve got 14 days to go!
I’ve actually found it really hard to focus on my food this week. For example, it turns out that my foot isn’t as good as I thought it was and I’ve made trips to an orthopaedic specialist and a physiotherapist this week. Right now I’m trying to rest my foot but not succeeding very well because of the everyday tasks that come with being a stay at home mum. When the Doctor told me I could have a medical certificate to make sure I keep off my foot, I couldn’t help but wonder who exactly I would give it to? There’s no calling in sick for extended periods of time in this job!
So I’ve been trying to make the best choices I can and I’ve done a pretty good job of it considering I haven’t been particularly prepared. My husband has done most of the cooking this week and we’ve been keeping things pretty simple, so no new recipes to report.
Yes, I’m a bit boring with my update this week! Sorry. I’m going hard these next 2 weeks (although exercise is a bit difficult right now) and I want to end the challenge knowing that I did the best I could.
