A recipe? Not so much. But if you’ve ever over-indulged on fresh bread & dipping oil before your meal arrived at a restaurant, you’ll understand why I had to post this. Fresh bread is tempting enough but beside a dish of herbed dipping oil it is completely irresistible.
Roasted garlic is super simple to make and I’ve included a few instructional photos. It’s well worth the effort and adds an amazing flavour to the olive oil. I recommend letting the oil sit for a little while before serving to allow the flavours to develop. You can also use leftover roasted garlic as an addition in casseroles or mixed with mayonnaise on sandwiches.
