Sometimes you find a recipe that’s such pure gold that you wonder how you survived without it. This is one of those. I love having any little excuse to make this incredible bread, so I whip it out for any gathering or special occasion that I can. It’s probably one of my favourite recipes. Ever. Yes, it really is that good.
If you’re not an olive fan, don’t think you can’t enjoy this too. I know of more than one olive-hating adult that has snuck a second piece when they thought no one was looking.

PS. I strongly suggest Paul Newman’s Own whole egg mayonnaise for this recipe. I’ve tried it with other brands of mayonnaise and it does make a difference to the taste. If you can’t find it at your local big branded supermarket, try an independent grocery store as they are more likely to have it.
